For the 2013 iConference in Montreal, Quebec I presented this quantitative analysis of the history of Public Health Comic books. The core idea is to illustrate how comic books have evolved across decades. Public Health comic books were from originally designed to warn children of danger, today they tell complex narratives about wrestling with disease. This research was the foundation for a later grant funded project using Bibliotherapy for the American Veteran's Administration.
